Wind and waves are powerful forces. You cannot see the wind, yet you can see its effect. You cannot control the waves, yet their movement and strength can shape everything around them.
Jesus used the imagery of wind to help us understand the work of the Holy Spirit. In John 3:8, He said:
“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
The Holy Spirit is God's power at work within us—unseen, yet unmistakably evident. He gives us strength when we are weak, courage when we are afraid, wisdom when we need direction, and boldness to live out the calling God has placed on our lives.
At Wind & Wave Ministries, we believe that followers of Jesus are not called simply to stand still. We are called to be filled, empowered, and moved by the Holy Spirit.
Like the wind that fills the sails of a boat and gives it direction, the Holy Spirit empowers us to move forward in faith. Like waves that carry power and reach far beyond their point of origin, the work God does in and through our lives can influence families, leaders, churches, and communities.
Our desire is to see people encounter the presence of Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and become equipped to make a lasting difference wherever God sends them.
Wind & Wave Ministries serves through four key areas:
We proclaim the Word of God in churches, conferences, special services, and ministry settings, seeking to encourage believers, challenge hearts, and point people toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
We invest in pastors, leaders, and emerging leaders by helping them grow spiritually, develop their leadership capacity, and lead with greater clarity, character, and purpose.
We believe the Gospel calls us not only to speak about the love of Christ but to demonstrate it. Through practical acts of compassion and generosity, we seek to meet needs and bring hope to individuals and families.
Strong families are foundational to strong churches and communities. We encourage and equip families to build Christ-centered homes where faith is lived, relationships are strengthened, and the next generation is discipled to follow Jesus.
Our prayer is that Wind & Wave Ministries would be a vessel through which the Holy Spirit moves—bringing encouragement to the weary, equipping leaders, strengthening families, meeting practical needs, and proclaiming the hope of Jesus.
We don't want to simply talk about the power of God.
We want to live empowered by it.
The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in those who belong to Him. And when we surrender ourselves to His leading, He can take ordinary lives and use them for extraordinary purposes.
